Marin’Escale is a non-profit organization which was established by volunteers in 1993.
Our objectives are to welcome, provide orientation and practical help to the seamen who transit through, in what is for them, a foreign port. We provide a place for seafarers where they can relax, have a drink, and play billiards, table tennis or table football. We also have available karaoke, guitare, piano, and also outside basketball.
Marin’Escale is available for any help you may require during your vessel’s stay in the port of La Rochelle.
The efforts of many volunteers and employees make it possible to be open 7 days a week.
We also have a small shop where you can find all the commodities, gifts and a few necessities (visit our products page). Besides, you can help yourself to a collection of free books, clothes and accessories.
Bikes are available for a small fee all day long, we also sell bus tickets enabling you to go and visit the city center. We hope that you will enjoy your stay in La Rochelle and that you will find all that you need here.
